Raechele is a board-certified dermatologist, writer and entrepreneur. From Detroit, Michigan, she completed her undergraduate training at Cornell University, and received her medical degree from The University of Michigan School of Medicine. Raechele has received numerous awards for her commitment to dermatology, health education and research. She is co-founder at Bloomballa Beauty, a wellness and beauty brand focused on adaptogenic tea-infusion supplements. She is also a past winner of the L’Oréal Ethnic Skin and Hair Symposium Young Investigator Award and the American Academy of Dermatology’s Program for Innovative Continuing Medical Education in Dermatology Grant. She served as chief resident of her dermatology training program at Henry Ford Health System, and is also a graduate of their Healthcare Equity Scholars Program. Raechele’s research and writing has been published in leading dermatology journals and magazines, and she speaks both nationally and internationally on health related topics. A past symposium director for the American Academy of Dermatology, her writing has been featured on numerous blogs, websites and text chapters, and she is a co-editor of the textbook, “Treatments for Skin of Color.” Raechele is passionate about her craft, and has been featured in multiple media sources and podcasts including WDIV-NBC affiliate, Real Simple, Ebony, Medium, Real Health, Dermatology Times, Healthline, MedPageToday and MindBodyGreen, to name just a few.
